Box Truck driving is a solid step into trucking without the full big-rig setup. You’ll haul freight in a straight truck (typically 16–26 feet) with an attached cargo box, no trailer, often on local or regional routes with frequent stops and deliveries to businesses or homes. These roles are usually easier to break into than Class A semi jobs and tend to mean shorter runs and quicker turnarounds.
