RPA for Logistics: Achieving Digital Transformation Through AI

February 26 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am EST

Much of the conversation about digital transformation in logistics focuses on how technologies like IoT and blockchain can create new opportunities and advantages through improved data-gathering from networks. It’s easy to see why: with better data comes better insight and—in theory at least—better efficiency and improved outcomes for customers. However, for many logistics players, legacy back- and front-office administration systems are the weakest links in the chain.

Robotic process automation (RPA) and AI technologies promise to help logistics players modernize these systems quickly and non-invasively and enable new digital initiatives to be seamlessly integrated into core operations, but implementing them successfully requires careful thought and planning.

FreightWaves and Kofax recently partnered for a webinar in which Neil Ward-Dutton, Vice President of AI and DX European Research Practices for IDC, shared how RPA and AI adoption trends in the logistics industry can be implemented successfully. Tyler Suss, Product Marketing Director for Kofax, also provided recommendations on key factors to consider for selecting a smart automation solution for your organization, and Michael Pedersen, Director of Business Integrations in Global IT for DSV, shared a case study on how DSV enhanced productivity and efficiency in their operations to better serve customers.
