  1. Why would anyone drive a truck when Toyota in princeton,in is paying $ 29.85 a hour. Home in own be eveynite.and are begging for workers .
Truck driving is a min wage job with dot fines and penslties..
Stop driving start looking there are great paying jobs

    1. Wow. We have a real brainiac right here folks. So smart he is that he doesn’t understand simple things like 1. Companies that pay that well usually don’t have a high turn over rate, thus they don’t need to hire often, 2. At that pay rate companies will usually be more selective in the hiring process, they don’t hire based on who filled out an application the fastest for review. And they often won’t hire people just to fill a hole, they will leave the hole empty until a candidate they like applies & 3. No those jobs are not everywhere, not even remotely.

  2. I was an hvh transportation lease driver I had about 10 or 11 months to go on my lease I had no warning I seen red flags it is like you see the storm clouds you know its coming you try to get ready but it over takes you I am not going to be bitter yes I am mad confused but not down I have an offer from Allstate Express out of north Carolina but as bad as it sounds all jokes aside when was the last time you heard swift playing off drivers I am sure it has happened but if so not in awhile and please pray for the drivers still stranded

    1. There is a driver shortage because 1. The pay sucks, 2. Too many people are crying complaining pussies that don’t want to leave mom’s basement & 3. Because of all the bullshit drivers have to put up with.

        1. There may not be a driver shortage, but there is certainly a QUALITY driver shortage. As a carrier we get a lot of candidates that 1) can’t pass a drug test 2) can’t pass a driving test 3) do not have an MVR that qualifies for hire 4) can’t make an appointment on time 5) want 150,000/year but under perform 6) trash the equipment. And none of it seems to be the driver’s fault.

  3. Why is it that the us government allows trucking companies to cease operations leaving drivers and trucks scattered all across the united states – there should be a law that states you cannot leave a driver without sufficient means to return to home terminal or place of origin

  4. It’s the new law requiring ELD’s many small companies can’t afford it. Rather than laying off during the holidays they are giving unemployment benefits before then.

  5. Please contact me for a driving opportunity if you are located in the following states, VA, NC, SC, GA, AL, MS, LA, AR, TN, KY. Our drivers CHOOSE THEIR HOME TIME. Work in a family Oriented atmosphere. Our drivers are not just another truck number. 256-305-5316 ask for Kim also check us out at http://www.suittrans.com.
