Geoff Turner is the President and CEO of Choptank Transport, a third-party logistics provider based in Preston, Maryland. Her experience spans the spectrum of operational sustainability including alternative energy, efficiency, autonomous vehicles, building design and technologies, packaging, water, waste and recycling, and supplier engagement. Elizabeth lead Walmart’s achievement of doubling their fleet efficiency from 2005-2015 which saved the company $1 billion annually and for which they won Green Fleet of the Year in 2017. In 2016, she was one of Fleet Owner magazine’s Dozen Outstanding Women in Trucking and in one of three finalists for the 2nd Annual Distinguished Women in Logistics award. Elizabeth has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calgary and gained an interest and appreciation for sustainability through her work in the remote Northern regions of Canada with the Aboriginal people.

Joining Redwood in 2004 as its Chief Technology Officer, Rempel played a key role in the creation of a Redwood’s proprietary TMS. He led its design by integrating powerful transportation automation into customer supply chains. Rempel became Redwood Logistics’ Chief Innovation Officer in 2017. He founded 3PLogic in 2009, (now Redwood Supply Chain Solutions, or SCS), whose technology was the catalyst for RedwoodConnectSM , a supply-chain integration platform.

Sarah Ruffcorn

Sarah Ruffcorn has spent 17 years with Trinity Logistics in several roles. In her current role as COO, she leads the operations and sales teams to include five Regional Service Center logistics offices throughout the country, the LTL division, the Advanced Services division, and the Managed Services division. She currently serves as the co-chair of TIA’s Women in Logistics Committee and is a member of the TIA Technology Committee. She was awarded the 2015 Delaware Business Times Best 40 under 40 award for being one of the region’s “best and brightest young professionals” and nominated as a top 5 finalist for the 2019 “Distinguished Woman in Logistics” award. Scott Shechtman is Head of New Markets in Nasdaq’s Market Technology business. In this role, he is responsible for strategy and business development in enabling Nasdaq’s marketplace technology offerings to operate in new segments beyond capital markets, including but not limited to insurance, shipping, logistics, sports wagering and healthcare. He is also President of Longitude, Nasdaq’s pari-mutel pool-betting technology that uses advanced mathematical principles and cutting-edge computing techniques to facilitate innovation in the sports wagering industry. He has patents granted and pending for a variety of pari-mutuel wagering frameworks for sports betting. Prior to joining Longitude in 2010, Shechtman was in Markets and Banking Strategy at Citigroup and has held a variety of other positions within the financial services industry. Shawn Graves has been an integral part of the growth at J.B. Hunt Transport for 20 years. He started with the company as a manager trainee, where he developed his knowledge of the industry while operating in all four of the company’s business units. His expertise in the enterprise as a whole moved him into Dedicated Contract Services, where he was responsible for the team that implemented all 90 Final Mile Services locations. Graves currently holds the position of Vice President of Transportation inside the Integrated Capacity Solutions division.
