Disney Villains On Latest Forever Stamps

The U.S. Postal Service is honoring the rich legacy of the Walt Disney Studios Ink & Paint Department by dedicating a sheet of 20 Forever stamps featuring 10 classic Disney villains. The Disney Villains Forever stamps will be dedicated on July 15, during D23 Expo 2017, at the Anaheim Convention Center.

It’s the most wonderful(ly busy) time of the year for the U.S. Postal Service. Back before two-day express shipping was a thing, letters and packages arrived from separate delivery vehicles. In this photo, dated about 1950 from our National Postal Museum, a city carrier brings boxes in the snow. In that post-World War II era, Americans started sending much more mail, especially as families started using mail-order catalogs to order household goods.

Apart from being charming in the ??New England small town way, Litchfield is a great spot to bring kids. _ • Wide sidewalks ⬆️ to run/bike/scooter down while adults admire the historic architecture. • A village green dating back to 1720 – perfect for burning energy before or after a meal. • A row of cute restaurants, including a pizza option ? (We chose the Village Restaurant, which was casual and toddler-friendly, not to mention a ?? on food.)
