FMC reviews 15 OTI license applications

   The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 15 license applications and changes for review.
   The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from AA Shipping, Houston (Barbara C. Mozie, president); Eagle Van Lines, Temple Hills, Md. (Christos Georgeakopoulos, vice president); J.K. Moving & Storage, Sterling, Va. (Charles S. Kuhn, president); NIT Logistics, Hackensack, N.J. (Esra Terer, corporate secretary); and TBIF, Bozeman, Mont. (Wayne J. Anderson, vice president of operations).
   The agency received NVO-ocean freight forwarder license applications from Expert Log, Miami (Denise Leinig, member); G Trading Group, Hialeah Gardens, Fla. (Abel Gonzalez, president); Purely Global, Doral, Fla. (Gabriela M. Haddadi, director); and Sifa USA, Miami (Marcia F. Carlson, operations and logistics coordinator).
   The FMC also received ocean freight forwarder license applications from Cargo Partner Network, Rosedale, N.Y. (Fergal Keenan, president); and Deckwell Sky (USA), City of Industry, Calif. (ShuHsien “Prescillia” Chu, president).
   In addition, the agency received applications for a change to qualifying individual from J.A. Logistics, McHenry, Ill. (Arthur N. Nutig, chief operating officer); for a license transfer from Maxworld Logistics, Rosedale, N.Y. (Hong Guo, president); and for trade name changes from Cargo Tours International, Jamaica, N.Y. (Giuseppe D. Carpini, president); and UTi, Long Beach, Calif. (Christian Boettcher, vice president).
