ITC studies effects of Cuba trade on U.S. exports

From the investigation, ITC will provide an overview of recent and current trends in Cuban imports of goods and services.    The U.S. International Trade Commission has started an investigation into the potential economic effects on exports of U.S. goods and services, including those which are digitally traded, of statutory and administrative restrictions related to trade with Cuba.
   The investigation, Overview of Cuban Imports of Goods and Services and Effects of U.S. Restrictions, was requested by the Senate Finance Committee in a recent letter.
   From its investigation, ITC will provide an overview of recent and current trends in Cuban imports of goods and services, including from the United States, and an analysis of U.S. restrictions affecting those purchases, including restrictions on U.S. citizen travel to Cuba. 
   The agency will deliver its report to the committee by Sept. 15.
