Hyundai provides details on G6 strings

   Hyundai Merchant Marine has provided details on the port rotations for the services it will offer next year in the Asia to North America West Coast and on the transatlantic, including those that will be added after the G6 expands into those two trade lanes.
   A spreadsheet detailing the services — including ship sizes, number of vessels and port rotations — that was downloaded from the Hyundai website can be viewed here.
   The company notes that the port rotations to the West Coast are subject to change.
   Hyundai indicated it will operate 10 services between Asia and Pacific Southwest ports and four services between Asia and the Pacific Northwest. It said that it is adding five strings in the Asia-West Coast lane.
   The ships in those services will range in size from 3,750 TEU to 9,200 TEU.
   The company said it will continue to offer seven services between Asia and the U.S. East Coast, four that use the Panama Canal and three that use the Suez Canal.
   On the transatlantic, it will offer five services with ships that range in size from 2,500 TEU to 7,000 TEU. Two of the services will offer calls in Los Angeles and Asia.
