FMC reviews 25 OTI license applications    The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 25 license applications and changes for review.
   The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from AOC Freight Corp., Torrance, Calif. (Spencer Ho, vice president); Charter Logistics USA, Norwalk, Calif. (Ray Kao, chief executive officer); Direct Freight Services, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. (Neil T. Marshall, member); Embarque Bandera Shipping, New York (Amelio De Jesus, president); International Shipping Lines, Toronto (Kamran Shaikh, president); King Freight New York, Lyndhurst, N.J. (Jerry Wang, vice president); Movage, Bronx, N.Y. (Traveler J. Schinz-Devico, vice president of sales); Vegano Shipping & Multi Services Corp., New York (Pedro Sime, president); and YCT Logistics, El Monte, Calif. (Terry Tsang, CEO).
   The agency received NVO-ocean freight forwarder license applications from Antillean Logistics Center, Miami (Sara C. Babun, president); DW Logistics Solutions, Rosedale, N.Y. (John Y. Wong, vice president of sales and marketing); Forbis Logistics Corp., Doral, Fla. (Sonia E. Aguayo, treasurer); Frontline Cargo Logistics, Miami (Ivonne C. Sola, president); Globest International, River Edge, N.J. (Jong Yeoul Kim, senior vice president); Innovation Shipping, Arcadia, Calif. (Yolanda L. Nguyen, president); Quartz Logistics, Alhambra, Calif. (Eva S. Chen, secretary); Red Arrow Consulting, Bellevue, Wash. (Peter A. Lindsey, chief operating officer); Shinewell Logistics, Torrance, Calif. (Hseanru ‘Stephen H.’ Lin, president); TFM International, Pittsburgh (Michael S. Wagner, president); and Trade Services USA, Signal Hill, Calif. (Alaaddin Akyol, president).
   The FMC also received an ocean freight forwarder license application from Balkans Air Corp., Brooklyn, N.Y. (Begator Hila, president).
   In addition, the agency received applications for changes to qualifying individuals from Casey Overseas Corp., Towson, Md. (Melanie C. Dvorak, president); and Toshiba Logistics America, Irvine, Calif. (Masato Hamazaki, CEO). The agency received an application for a name change from Edward Transit Express Group, Compton, Calif. (Mei Mei Zhou, president); and for a license transfer from Move Management International, Doral, Fla. (Manuel J. Rojas, vice president).
