Triton Global keeps eye on expansion

Houston-based NVO Triton Global plans to continue expansion of services.    Twenty-year-old non-vessel-operating common carrier Triton Overseas has renamed itself Triton Global to better reflect its now more than 200 overseas destinations served and plans for further expansion.
   “Since our inception in 1994, Triton has grown from a single-lane freight service provider to an industry-leading consolidator that partners with agents worldwide to offer reliable, cost-efficient import and export services to an international customer base,” said William Onorato, chief executive officer and founder of Houston-based Triton Global, in a statement.
   In the past year, Triton has expanded its services to include imports from Europe to Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana and Oklahoma. The NVO also extended its export services to Latin America.  
   Triton offers an array of services, including less-than-container load, full-container load, consolidation and deconsolidation, warehousing, air freight, breakbulk and project cargo.
   The NVO will launch a new website that features online tracking and tracing tools, rate quotes, news, information about the Triton staff.
