FMC reviews 20 OTI license applications

   The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 20 ocean transportation intermediary license applications and changes for review.
   The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier Burnaby license applications from Arrow Logistics Services, Miami (Ernesto O. Del Riego, vice president); Confianca Logistics, Medley, Fla. (Rodrigo Stegani, manager); Damco International, The Hague, Netherlands (James Percival, compliance officer); Rand Whitney Packaging Corp., Lancaster, Mass. (Michael V. Yost, vice president); Transitnow, Linden, N.J. (David Menteshashvili, member); and United Liberty Express Co., Burnaby, B.C., Canada (Dmitry Zhdanov, director). 
   The agency also received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from Argyle Customs and Forwarding, Jackson, Mich. (Gregory D. Chevalier, member); Braid Logistics (North America), New Orleans (John J. Lyons, vice president); Marinex Logistics, Washington Township, N.J. (Alp Kosi, president); Rodawi International Corp., Miami (Rosa Rodriguez, president); SCT Worldwide Logistics, Waycross, Ga. (Steven C. Thornton, managing member); Siati Express, Miami (Jose F. Banderas, vice president); and World Cargo Solutions, Houston (Jacob Mathew, managing member). 
   In addition, the FMC received applications for changes to qualifying individuals from Clare Freight Int’l (U.S.A.), Jamaica, N.Y. (Claire Moachi Lee, president); DJS International Services, Colleyville, Texas (David M. Meyer, vice president); Global Vision Group, Statesville, N.C. (Steven P. Murphy, assistant vice president); and Latin Link Logistics, Miami (Shariff Gonnella, president); for a name change to EWC Ocean Services from Global Logistics Services, Miami (Ana Conlan, vice president); for trade name additions from St. Blue & Co., Carson, Calif. (Sammy Son, president) to include AP Logistics, and Transcarveca U.S.A Corp., Miami (Luis A. Fuenmayor, president) to include Teamfreight Forwarding Co.
