FMC reviews 14 OTI license applications

   The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 14 ocean transportation intermediary license applications and changes for review.
   The FMC received a non-vessel-operating common carrier license application from ABC Logistics, Seattle (Mark Dudley, vice president).
   The agency received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from AfriCom Logistics, Farmingdale, N.Y. (Emeka J. Ukasoanya, vice president); Base Ventures International, New Brighton, Minn. (Oluwaseyi E. Olawore, president); DGL (L.A.), West Covina, Calif. (Andy Kung, vice president); Kenter Logistics USA, Houston (Gerald Stoll, vice president); Loadnship, Compton, Calif. (Moaykel Moaykel, president); and Next Generation Logistics, Paramount, Calif. (David Shen, director).
   The FMC also received ocean freight forwarder license applications from Global Transport System, Miami (Ivonne Cardenas, president); and Swift Freight (USA), Cerritos, Calif. (Kamal Vazirani, vice president).
   In addition, the agency received applications for changes to qualifying individuals from Honeybee International, Commerce, Calif. (Reda Aljabi, president); Ryder Global Services, Miami (Jeffrey A. Kristol, president); and Tecnoship Group Corp., Miami (Jose F. Rodriguez, president); for a trade name transfer from Aztec Marine Agencies, Beaumont, Texas (Rosemary Asta, president) to Acceleron Logistics; and for a transfer of TLI International, Annapolis, Md. (Gregory J. McCloskey, vice president) to DFS Ocean Services.
