FMC reviews 30 OTI license applications

   The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 30 ocean transportation intermediary license applications and changes for review. 
   The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from Air & Surface Systems, Irvine, Calif. (Paige Cotcamp, president); Azend International, Los Angeles (Adolfo Zendejas Jr., president); DFS Ocean Services, Annapolis, Md. (Gregory McCloskey, vice president); Meridian Freight, Miami Beach, Fla. (Alexey Rybnikov, member); OG Shipping & Business, Brooklyn, N.Y. (Orrin Henderson, president); Pre Clearance Customhouse Brokers and Freight Forwarders, Jamaica, N.Y. (Salvatore Stile, president); and Transmarine Transportation and Distribution, Normandy Park, Wash. (Victor V.Q. Tran, member). 
   The agency received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from Aduanair Cargo & Courier Corp., Miami (Anamar Del Castillo, vice president); Apexim International, Naperville, Ill. (Peter Barker, president); Container Shipping, Ormond Beach, Fla. (Svetlana Shmakova, member); InstiCo Freight Management, Grapevine, Texas (Ismel Camacho, corporate secretary); Karpeles Freight Services, Freeport, N.Y. (Malcolm Heath, chief executive officer); Load Group International, Hallandale, Fla. (Hermann Lange, president); Moveline Group, Las Vegas (Alex Alpert, vice president); Quad Logistics Services, Bolingbrook, Ill. (Carol Brennan, assistant secretary); Sun Track Express, Monterey Park, Calif. (Yu Ding, secretary); TMB USA, Miami (Vanessa Ramirez, vice president); Trans Shipping International, Brooklyn, N.Y. (Shay Harpaz, president); and Venezolana De Fletamentos Cavefle, Hialeah, Fla. (Genesis Diaz, manager). 
   The FMC also received ocean freight forwarder license applications from American Star Logistics, Alsip, Ill. (Ylli Karaqica, president); Century Marine Corp., Houston (Jolie Cosman, president); Interglobal Logistics Corp., Miami (Cora Scotti, vice president); Lopa Co., La Palma, Calif. (Tony Lee, vice president); and qHub Logistics Corp., Houston (Jimmy Chen, vice president). 
   In addition, the agency received applications for changes to qualifying individuals from Blue Water Shipping U.S., Edison, N.J. (Hans Mikkelsen, president); EC Logistics, El Segundo, Calif. (Xin Chen, member); and Miragrown Logistics Corp., Torrance, Calif. (Krystal Castro, secretary); for name changes from Daniel Young, Berwyn, Pa. (Denise Traynor, chief financial officer) to DF Young; and from NEC Logistics, Kanagawa, Japan (Manabu Saito, global network business unit affairs manager) to Nittsu NEC Logistics; and for a license transfer from Infinite Logistics Services Corp., Chino, Calif. (Richard Tsiu, president) to Infinite Global Trading.
