FMC reviews 25 OTI license applications

The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 25 ocean transportation intermediary license applications and changes for review.    The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) has received 25 ocean transportation intermediary (OTI) license applications and changes for review.
   The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from Caribe Express, West New York, N.J. (Rosario Dieguez, secretary); Honour Lane Logistics (USA), City of Industry, Calif. (Philip Fut Chung Yuen, chief operating officer); Leader Air & Sea, Bensenville, Ill. (Po Kuang Allen Hsu, vice president); Penguin Global Logistics USA, Carson, Calif. (Cooper Chao, president); Safewater Lines India Private Limited, Mumbai, India (Anil Kumar Malik, president); Shine Shipping, Brea, Calif. (Fei “Joe” Wong, chief executive officer); Summit Forwarding, Atlanta (Dean Kalinowski, member/manager); TPH International, South Amboy, N.J. (Ying Hong, member); and WW Messenger & Shipping Co., Orange, N.J. (Wesley Weekes, president).
   The agency received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from B&G Futures, Canton, Ohio (Robert J. Waalkes, secretary); Compass Logistics, Atlanta (Robert B. Fleming, secretary); and Crest Container Lines, Auburn, Wash. (Terri L. Danz, director).
   The FMC also received ocean freight forwarder license applications from A-1 Fargo Van and Storage, Miami (Treva H. Ward, vice president); Lotus Logistics Solutions, Miami (Bertha A. Chang, member); and Transworld Limited, Odenton, Md. (Maria Byrne “Qingli Zhang,” member).
   In addition, the agency received license applications for changes to qualifying individuals from Associated Global Systems, New Hyde Park, N.Y. (David Cadmus, president); Express Ocean Freight Unlimited, Jamaica, N.Y. (Claudia de la Torre, vice president of ocean route development); F.H.L. Logistics, Doral, Fla. (Marco A. Generani, vice president); Goodrich Americas, Piscataway, N.J. (Victoria Kokanovic, vice president); LV Shipping (USA), Humble, Texas (Paul Wilson, president); NewPort Tank Containers (USA), Cleveland (Thomas J. Starck, vice president); Salinas Forwarding Co., Houston (Rosendo S. Gonzalez, vice president); and Tropical Wind Cargo International, Medley, Fla. (Carolina Bermudez, manager); for a name change to Inter Continental Transportation from Inter Continental Transportation Corp., Doral, Fla. (Sheldon F. Serrao, president); and for the deletion of trade names Rolasa USA and Junior Cargo from Asecomer International Corp., Miami (John O. Crespo, president).
