FMC reviews 12 OTI license applications

   The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from Convey International, Gardena, Calif. (Edgar Arijanyan, director); Eurabia Shipping and International Transport, Orange, Calif. (Ayman A. Zaatarah, general manager); and S&R Worldwide Logistics, Plainview, N.Y. (Steven Tang, president).
   The agency also received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from Safari Int’l Shipping, Lauderhill, Fla. (Carl S. Sharpe, president); U.S. Express, Concord, N.H. (David J. Hagen, vice president); and Volkmann Express, Lanham, Md. (Uzoma C. Nwachukwu, president).
   In addition, the agency received license applications for changes to qualifying individuals from Air Ocean International Forwarders, Doral, Fla. (Cindy I. Ortiz, secretary); AREVA, Charlotte, N.C. (William S. Edwards, director); Cargonet Logistics Corp., El Monte, Calif. (John Zhang, member); Marine Transport International USA, Hoboken, N.J. (Vidhya R. Iyer, export manager); and NTL Naigai Trans Line (USA), Torrance, Calif. (Eiji Miyazato, vice president); and for a transfer from East Point Group, Medley, Fla. (Matthew Leonard, manager) to Caribbean Cargo Holdings.
