FMC reviews 18 OTI license applications

   The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 18 license applications and changes for review. 
   The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from AAW Global Logistics PTY Ltd., Victoria, Australia (Joseph J. Pace, director); AOG International, Houston (J. Shelli Ali, vice president); Boacon Synergy, West Chester, Ohio (Benjamin O. Afolabi, president); Merengue Cargo Shipping, Yonkers, N.Y. (Amarelis Robles, president); and PMJ International, North Plainfield, N.J. (Pelham Hicks, chief executive officer).
   The agency received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from Howard Thomas Exports, Paramount, Calif. (Maximiliaan Hoes, secretary); National Air Cargo, Orchard Park, N.Y. (Richard T. Burke Jr., assistant secretary); New Hope Vehicle Exports, Wilmington, Del. (Javier Marmol, member); Seair Cargo Logistics, Medley, Fla. (Joaquin G. Ferrer, president); Tropic Import & Export, Miami (Clayde M. Couto, president); and Venezolana De Fletamentos Cavefle, Hialeah, Fla. (Genesis Diaz, manager).
   The FMC also received ocean freight forwarder license applications from Cars USA, San Francisco (Fiona Spence, president); Ellen Newman Logistics, Metairie, La. (Ellen A. Newmn, member); and Worldwide Cargo Express, Draper, Utah (Dana M. Ferguson, president).
   In addition, the agency received applications for changes to qualifying individuals from Ceva Freight, Houston (Matthew Ryan, president); and Equipsa, Miami (Isabel Montejo, vice president); for a license transfer from New Star Freight, Chino, Calif. (Xiasong Liu, secretary) to Freight Express Shipping Corp. (FESCO); and for a trade name add from Canei Group Corp., Miami (Graziella M. Lobato, director) for Kaizen World Freight and KWF Logistics.
