Executive moves: Total Quality Logistics and Automotive Industry Action Group

TQL names a new president, while AIAG elects is new chairman.    Total Quality Logistics has promoted Kerry Byrne to president. Ken Oaks, founder of the 17-year-old truckload logistics firm, previously served as president and CEO and remains CEO of the company. Byrne joined the company in 2005 after 17 years at Fifth Third Bank in Cincinnati and has been TQL’s executive vice president for the past 10 years.   

   David Kneisler, vice president of global quality for Dana Holding Corp., has been elected chairman of the Automotive Industry Action Group, a not-for-profit organization that works with automotive and manufacturing companies, suppliers and service providers to improve supply chains. Kneisler, a 20-year Dana veteran, joined the AIAG board in 2006 and served as vice chairman for the past two years.
