“We will now be operating a consolidated transatlantic service (TA2), offering reliable direct calls to US East Coast and Gulf Coast ports on Maersk Line-operated vessels,” the company said.
Maersk said the port rotation for the TA2 will be: Rotterdam, Felixstowe, Bremerhaven, Newark, Norfolk, Charleston, Savannah, Houston, Mobile, Charleston, Norfolk, Newark and Rotterdam.
The first westbound TA2 sailing will be the Maersk Missouri departing Rotterdam on Wednesday. The first eastbound TA2 sailing will be the Maersk Iowa departing Newark on May 18.
Maersk said it will continue to serve Miami on the Victory Bridge service, which is operated by CMA CGM. The first westbound sailing will depart Bremerhaven on May 16, and the first eastbound sailing will depart Savannah on May 14.
