FMC reviews 11 OTI license applications

The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 11 ocean transportation intermediary license applications and changes for review.    The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 11 ocean transportation intermediary license applications and changes for review. 
   The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from Global Port Ship Lines, Bevington, Iowa (Timothy Pontier, president); and Grandbelle International, Valley Stream, N.Y. (Francisca Enyaosa, chief executive officer). 
   The agency also received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from AFCO Shipping Lines, Pompano Beach, Fla. (Avi Nir, general manager); International Cargotrans, Elk Grove, Calif. (Karl W. Tede, director); Latam Cargo USA, Miami (Jose G. Suarez, managing member); Sam Taghavi, Harbor City, Calif. (Sam Taghavi, sole proprietor); and Versailles Shipping, West Palm Beach, Fla. (Sheldon Serrao, manager). 
   In addition, the FMC received applications for changes to a qualifying individual from ACE International, Jackson, Ga. (Norma K. Williams, secretary); GreenShields Cowie (U.S.A.), Clermont, Fla. (Sary S. Chun, secretary); and Interlog USA, Blaine, Wash. (David Canfield, president); and for a transfer from AIT Ocean Systems, Itasca, Ill. (Gregory W. Weigel, vice president) to AIT Worldwide Logistics.
