FMC reviews 26 OTI license applications

Those knowing a reason why an applicant should not receive a license or amendment should contact the Office of Transportation Intermediaries.    The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) has received 26 ocean transportation intermediary (OTI) license applications and changes for review.
   The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from ICM Cargo USA, Houston (Irsa Zaidi, manager); Interstate Commodities, Troy, N.Y. (Gregory F. Oberting, president); NTM Global, Midway City, Calif. (Michael Nguyen, member); and TMT Atlantic, Hicksville, N.Y. (Amar Singh, president).
   The agency received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from Marmedsa USA, Houston (Yalonda Henderson, secretary); MN Container Lines, Cerritos, Calif. (PakFun “Patrick” Chui, chief operations officer); S&S Logistics Group, Medley, Fla. (Elen C. Rivera Torres, secretary); Sylt, Bronx, N.Y. (Alexis Cruz, member); AZ Smart Global Logistics, Diamond Bar, Calif. (Alex C. Huang, CEO); EC Premier Logistics, Glendale, N.Y. (Cintia Ochoa, president); and Jene M. Rosado, Los Angeles (Jene M. Rosado, sole proprietor).
   The FMC also received an ocean freight forwarder license application from Autoshipment, Buena Park, Calif. (Andrew A. Howden, president).
   In addition, the agency received license applications for changes to qualifying individuals from CXP-USA Corp., Doral, Fla. (Juan P. Montova, assistant treasurer); Kenter Logistics USA, Smyrna, Ga. (Joe Pruss, vice president of operations); Seariders Brokerage Corp., Sunrise, Fla. (Daniel W. Barrett, president); Skylink Global Logistics, Valley Stream, N.Y. (Sherman Mikami, vice president); Air Power International Express, Elk Grove Village, Ill. (Benny W. Wu, president); Alibaba Global Shipping, Oakland, Calif. (Ali Ismailzada, president); American Forwarding & Logistics, Fort Lauderdale, Fla. (Mark C. Brooks, general manager); Elite International Corp., Glendale Heights, Ill. (Giacoma M. D’Ambrosio, manager); and New Haven International, Kenner, La. (Jorge E. Jerez, president); for name changes to LAC Worldwide from Rodrimar International Freight, Doral, Fla. (Jeanete T. Essu, treasurer); and Viking Sea/Air Freight from Viking Sea Freight, Sloatsburg, N.Y. (Patrick J. Pascarella, president); for license transfers to Millat Traders from Melat Worlwide, Canoga Park, Calif. (Muhammad M. Rakhshani, president); and to Move Express Group from Move Express, Gardena, Calif. (Vaidas Vaitkevicius, CEO); and for the addition of trade name CAI Logistics from Challenger Overseas, Eatontown, N.J. (George C. Meyer, vice president).
