FMC reviews 19 OTI license applications

   The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 19 ocean transportation intermediary (OTI) license applications and changes for review.
   The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from Abslogix, Irvine, Calif. (Daniel Treichler, president) and Shifl, Airmont, N.Y. (Shabsie Levy, president).
   The agency received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from Agent Ex, Miami Lakes, Fla. (Daniel B. Savage, member); American Cargo, Phoenix (Jenna T. Trinh, president); Fond Express Worldwide, Irwindale, Calif. (Garry K. Law, president); Golden Fynch Logistics, Piscataway, N.J. (Michael Ciaccio, manager); Goodnight Terminal Services, Bay St. Louis, Miss. (Mary J. Mackey, president); Hansol Goldpoint, San Diego (Choon Woo Leem, manager); Hemisphere Global Systems, Queens Village, N.Y. (Lynn Zeuner, president); J.B. Hunt Transport, Lowell, Ark. (Brandon Taylor, vice president); Simple Forwarding, Monroe, N.Y. (Karen L. Trimblett, vice president); and TBL International Corp., Hialeah, Fla. (Laura Gomez, secretary).
   The FMC also received an ocean freight forwarder license from Jimex USA, Orlando, Fla. (Farkhod Sabirov, president).
   In addition, the agency received license applications for changes to qualifying individuals from Infinity Trans (LAX), City of Industry, Calif. (Ivy Zheng, vice president); Interport Global Logistics USA, East Brunswick, N.J. (Vaidyanathan B. Iyer, president); Manaco International Forwarders, Doral, Fla. (Roberta Kozak, chief operating officer); and Silver Hawk Freight, Cerritos, Calif. (Amar I. Durrani, CEO); for a license transfer to American Elite Lines from Blue Sky, Blue Sea Co., Newark, N.J. (Mohamad A. Aelaei, president); and for the addition of trade name BDP Transport from Silver Birch GP, Philadelphia (Howard N. Bolte, member).

Lists of licensed OTIs (applications approved, bonds in place and fully licensed) — both ocean freight forwarders and NVOs — also are available on the FMC website.
