FMC reviews 20 OTI license applications

Individuals knowing of any reason why an applicant should not receive an OTI license or amendment are urged to contact the Office of Transportation Intermediaries.

   The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 20 ocean transportation intermediary (OTI) license applications and changes for review.
   The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from Gorham Export Packing, Houston (Gerson D. Sosa, managing director); Imperial Int’l Systems, Riverside, Calif. (Young S. Sue, secretary); and Westwood Trading, Houston (Joseph Musachia, managing member).
   The agency received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from Donya Logistics, Roseville, Calif. (Lisa Germen, manager); OTC Logistics, Houston (Steven R. Jurica, vice president of business development and projects); Special Logistics Group, Elkhart, Ind. (Robert J. Boucek, member); Sprint Global Joint, San Francisco (Hu Wang, member); Transmarine Logistics, Chino, Calif. (Xing “Roger” Zhang, president); and United Logistics Group, Dearborn, Mich. (Fida Mourtada, member).
   The FMC also received ocean freight forwarder license applications from BD Flynn Worldwide Customs Brokers, Austin, Texas (Dolores “Dorry” Flynn, member); Bilink Export and Import, Casper, Wyo. (Patrick Zhang, sales manager); G M Inc., Lake Elmo, Minn. (Rajinder Singh, operations manager); and Transline Expedited Services Corp., Rockville Centre, N.Y. (Michael J. Seredinsky, president).
   In addition, the agency received license applications for changes to qualifying individuals from Castle Shipping Lines, Eagan, Minn. (Dennis B. Quimby, secretary); Dimerco Express (U.S.A.) Corp., Wood Dale, Ill. (Herbert Liou, president); E&B International, Virginia Beach, Va. (Donna L. Murray, president); and Schneider Freight USA, Valley Stream, N.Y.(Francois M. Luethi, vice president); for a license transfer to B. Von Paris and Sons from Certified Packaging & Transport, Savage, Md. (Mark Feinberg, president); for the removal of trade name Suddath International and addition of trade name Sterling Moving from Sentry Household Shipping, Jacksonville, Fla. (Deborah Passmore, vice president); and for a name change to Juno Logistics from Sojitz Logistics Corp. of America, Itasca, Ill. (Timothy Campbell, president).
