UPS Inc. (NYSE:UPS) said late Wednesday that it named Nando Cesarone, former head of the company’s international division, to become president of UPS’ U.S. operations. Scott Price, UPS’ chief strategy and transformation officer, will succeed Cesarone as head of UPS International, the company said.
Cesarone succeeds George Willis, who will retire after 36 years at the company for what it said were “personal and family reasons.”
Prior to running UPS’ international network, which stretches across 220 countries and territories, Cesarone ran the company’s European operations. Before that, he ran UPS’ Asia-Pacific region. He has spent nearly 13 years with UPS.
Price joined UPS in December 2017 after more than eight years at retail giant Walmart Inc. (NYSE:WMT). Part of that time he spent running Walmart’s Asia-Pacific operations. Before that, he spent seven years at express and logistics giant DHL. During his tenure, he ran the DHL Express unit’s European and Asian operations, as well as its Japanese unit. Price has spent most of his career abroad.
