Tenstreet is acquiring Stay Metrics in a marriage of two leading companies in the driver retention field.
The two companies made the announcement Tuesday morning. Tim Hindes, the founder and CEO of Stay Metrics, will stay with the company and lead the retention side of the combined organizations. Tim Crawford, the CEO of Tenstreet, will remain as the head of the combined organizations.
“As the leading SaaS provider of driver recruiting software and workflow solutions for the trucking and transportation industry, we feel that this partnership will help us to better serve clients of both companies by offering unparalleled driver-focused solutions,” the two companies said in an email blast to their customers.
The rest of the Stay Metrics team besides Hindes will be joining Tenstreet.
In the note, the companies said interactions with customers will be “business as usual.” Stay Metrics will exist as a company under Tenstreet. Stay Metrics’ product offerings will be offered alongside other Tenstreet products. But the note also said that Stay Metrics products will be made available through the Tenstreet dashboard “eventually.”
“This transaction allows us to bring our suite of driver retention products to the broader market,” Hindes said in the note. “Being on the Tenstreet platform will make it easier for drivers to engage with our surveys and rewards programs and will bring the market best-in-class recruiting and retention services.”
Both Crawford and Hindes have been regular contributors to FreightWaves media offerings. Crawford, at FreightWaves’ recent carrier summit, spoke about the need for companies to act quickly on applications from people seeking driver positions. Hindes was a recent guest on the Drilling Deep podcast and talked about retention in the wake of the pandemic.
