On this episode of At Your Doorstep, Kaylee Nix talks to Nick Carter, co-founder and CEO of Market Wagon, about how his platform is combining fresh produce with e-commerce delivery.
The idea began deep in the agricultural center of Illinois but is spreading through the Southeast with the goal of connecting farmers, bakers, restaurants and makers with more customers. Carter also said small farm-to-table restaurants typically incur a lot of down time during nonpeak hours, so his platform can help them reach customers ordering even when tables aren’t full.
