Landstar pierde a otro director financiero tras un breve mandato 

Es el tercer jefe de finanzas en año y medio

El corredor de carga Landstar System anunció el miércoles que el director financiero Fred Pensotti dejará la compañía “para perseguir otra oportunidad profesional”. Una presentación ante la Comisión de Valores y Bolsa dijo que el cambio es efectivo el 1 de julio. 

Pensotti fue contratado por Landstar (NASDAQ: LSTR) hace sólo un año, tras la abrupta pero “amistosa” salida del anterior director financiero Kevin Stout. La breve estancia de Pensotti en la empresa fue memorable, ya que Landstar registró nuevos máximos en ingresos y beneficios por acción durante cada trimestre de su mandato.

El actual vicepresidente y controlador corporativo, James Todd, asumirá el cargo de director financiero el 1 de julio, y será también el principal responsable financiero y contable. Se incorporó a Landstar en 2013 como director y controlador adjunto. Todd ha estado en su papel actual desde 2015. 

Además de un aumento de sueldo, Todd podrá acogerse al plan de compensación para ejecutivos de la empresa. 

Pensotti tiene derecho a los beneficios de separación según su acuerdo de empleo original.
