He has worked extensively in the Middle East and Africa as well as in the United Kingdom. In 1997, he started Aviation Complete, a general sales and aircraft operating agent. He has been a council member since 2009.
In addition, Volker Meissner has been elected the association’s deputy chairman. He started his aviation career with a commercial pilot’s license in 1990. After several years working in Germany and Italy, he joined the offices of Continental Airlines in Gatwick. In 2004, he moved back into the business jet market and founded Aviation Charter Ltd., an ad-hoc charter broker specialist, in 2006.
