Americold offers truck capacity finder

   Americold, a provider of temperature-controlled warehousing and logistics to the food industry, has introduced Xpedite, a 24-hour service offering fast delivery of both less-than-truckload and truckload shipments.
   Xpedite helps food shippers locate truck capacity for routine and urgent deliveries, the company said.
   “There are many expedited service companies in the marketplace. What sets Americold apart is our focus and expertise in managing the transport of temperature-controlled product,” said Greg Bryan, the company’s executive vice president of transportation, in a statement. “The Americold network supports dry and temperature-controlled products while also providing an on-demand solution for shippers with urgent deliveries.”
