Bahri, Bolloré Group form joint venture in Saudi Arabia

The newly formed Riyadh-based BahriBolloré, a joint venture of Bahri and Bolloré Logistics, is part of Saudi Arabia’s plan to establish itself as a global logistics gateway.

   Bahri and Bolloré Group have set up a joint venture logistics company in Saudi Arabia. 
   Riyadh-based BahriBolloré is 60 percent owned by Bahri, with remainder held by Bolloré. 
   “Bahri is extremely proud to be playing an active role in ‎strengthening the Kingdom’s position as a unique global logistics ‎gateway,” said Bahri’s Chairman Abdulrahman Mohammed Al-Mofadhi in a statement. “‎Through this joint venture and other initiatives, we remain ‎dedicated to the future growth and development of the ‎transportation and logistics industry in the Kingdom.” 
   Through the joint venture, Bolloré Logistics expects to enhance its position within the Middle East market.
   “Our joint venture with Bahri enable us to promote our expertise of our key sectors, especially in aerospace, defense, oil and gas, along with fashion and healthcare,” said Thierry Ehrenbogen, CEO of Bolloré Logistics.
