Brogan named managing director at Corpus Christi

   Port of Corpus Christi commissioners have appointed Frank Brogan, former deputy port director for engineering, finance and administration services, to managing director.
   In this role, Brogan will be responsible for the daily port operations, including business development, engineering, finance, information technology, human resources and communications. He will report to the Executive Director John P. LaRue.
   Brogan has been with the Texas port since September 1987. He directed the Mary Rhodes Water Pipeline Project, a $130 million emergency water supply project for the region. Before joining the port, he was a consulting engineer in the Corpus Christi area for 13 years, specializing in the design of industrial and marine facilities.
