Carlton retiring as CEO of the NIT League

Jennifer Hedrick will replace Bruce Carlton as executive director and MCI USA will provide association management services to National Industrial Transportation League.

   Bruce Carlton, the president and chief executive officer of the National Industrial Transportation League (NITL) has retired after eight years of leading the nation’s largest shipper group.
   Jennifer Hedrick will serve as the executive director, and MCI USA will provide association management services to the league. Carlton will continue to work for the NIT League as a consultant on policy and government affairs matters.
   Doug J. Kratzberg, an ExxonMobil executive who serves as chairman of the NIT League said in a statement, “We believe MCI USA is the perfect choice to enhance NITL’s programs, services, and impact. NITL is excited to partner with Jennifer and the MCI USA team to better serve our members and strengthen our organization’s impact.”
   Hedrick has over 15 years of experience working with non-profit organizations, and prior to joining MCI USA, she served as executive director of the Pellet Fuels Institute.
   Carlton joined the NIT League in 2008 after retiring as assistant administrator of the U.S. Maritime Administration.
