CaroTrans offers Hong Kong-to-Atlanta service

The NVOCC CaroTrans said that it will start offering an expedited LCL import service from Hong Kong to Atlanta with a 22-day transit time.
CaroTrans said the service, which begins October 14, covers the entire Pearl River Delta region including main cities Guangzhou and Shenzhen, as well as Xiamen with consolidations in Hong Kong.
Cargo is available within 24 hours at its Hartsfield warehouse.
“As a top U.S. trading partner, China is a critically important market for CaroTrans to grow and develop,” Greg Howard, the company’s chief executive officer. “We are pleased to offer this new LCL import service from Hong Kong to the important U.S. Southeast gateway. This service continues to expand our scope of China to U.S. services.” Earlier in the year, CaroTrans announced a second weekly Shanghai to New York service and a new Shanghai to Atlanta service.
In North America, CaroTrans has a local network of 14 branch offices and 23 container freight stations.
