CenterPoint buys warehouse near L.A., Long Beach ports

The industrial developer has acquired a 116,550-square-foot facility in Santa Fe Springs, Calif., featuring nearby access to the intermodal yards of two Class 1 railroads.

   CenterPoint Properties said it has acquired a 116,550-square-foot industrial facility in Santa Fe Springs, Calif., near the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach.
   Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
   The facility, which is located on five acres, has nearby access to the intermodal yards of the Union Pacific and BNSF railroads, and is one mile from interstates 605 and 5.
   In addition, the facility offers 18 to 22-foot ceiling clearances, eight exterior docks, two drive-in doors, 90 car parking spots and 26 trailer positions.
