CPG opens Charlotte drayage terminal

The terminal will provide container drayage services over the Port of Wilmington and rail ramps at Charlotte.

   ContainerPort Group has opened a new terminal in Charlotte, N.C.,  at the port’s inland terminal.
   The terminal will provide container drayage services over the Port of Wilmington and rail ramps at Charlotte, the Cleveland-based company said.
   CPG also operates a drayage terminal and the Norfolk Southern ramp at Greensboro.
   “The opening of the Charlotte terminal is part of CPG’s long-term strategic plan of increasing its business in the Southeast United States,” said Russ Graef, the company’s president, in a statement.
