Executive Moves: American, New York & New Jersey

Promotions come with new responsibilities and ways of doing business to best serve customers.    American Airlines Cargo has promoted Jessica Tyler to vice president of strategy and development.
Tyler’s organization will focus on how the carrier plans and invests in the right technology, products, partnerships and ways of doing business to best serve customers. She also will continue leading American’s digital transformation initiative that will replace 90 percent of the organization’s legacy technology, enabling end-to-end business process and customer experience modernization.
Tyler joined American Airlines in 2012 and led the team that merged the cargo divisions of US Airways and American. Prior to joining American, she was a global practice leader at Gallup Inc.

The Port of New York & New Jersey named Mike Bozza as general manager of New Jersey Marine Terminals; Lawrence Wilson as general manager of New York Marine Terminals; Rich Laraway as deputy general manager of New Jersey Marine Terminals; and Geri Lewis as deputy general manager of New York Marine Terminals.
A 17-year employee, Bozza joined the agency as a management associate. He most recently held the position of manager of property development at Newark Liberty International Airport.
An 18-year employee, Wilson also joined the agency as a management associate. Since 2016, he has served as deputy general manager of New Jersey Marine Terminals.
Laraway joined the port authority in 2012 as a senior maritime market analyst. He worked on the Bayonne Bridge navigational clearance project as the lead project manager until 2016, when he was promoted to assistant general manager of New York Marine Terminals.
Lewis has worked for the port authority for almost 24 years. Her career began at the George Washington Bridge supporting administrative activities. She joined the Port Department in 2015 and most recently served as manager of port operations at New Jersey Marine Terminals.
