Executive Moves: CCM, Coldharbour, Chapman Freeborn

   The board of Consolidated Chassis Management LLC (CCM), the chassis pool subsidiary of the Ocean Carrier Equipment Management Association (OCEMA), has named Mike Wilson chief executive officer, effective Wednesday.
   Wilson has been a member of the CCM board of managers and an officer of parent company OCEMA since 2010.
   He has spent 39 years in international shipping, including senior positions in logistics, operations and customer service in North America, Europe, Central America, the Caribbean and South America with United States Lines, Crowley Maritime, United Arab Shipping and Atlantic Container Line. 
   Prior to joining CCM, Wilson was senior vice president of Hamburg Süd North America Inc., responsible for all marine and terminal operations, equipment and intermodal, finance and accounting, information technology, human resources, quality management and administration.
   Founded in 2005, CCM has a network of six regional chassis pools containing more than 120,000 intermodal chassis at over 300 locations across the United States.
   “Mike’s business and operational acumen, years of experience working in the industry and extensive background in intermodal operations make him a great fit to lead CCM,” said Frank Grossi, chairman of OCEMA and acting chairman of the CCM board.
   U.K.-based in-tank ballast water treatment systems manufacturer Coldharbour Marine has named Don Stephen as chief executive officer.
   Stephen has more than 30 years of industry experience, including technical and leadership roles at De Nora Water Technology, Severn Trent Services, GE and Alstom.
   Stephen, who will be based at the head office in Linby, England, said he was “looking forward to working with the Coldharbour team to lead the business in increasing our market presence, serving our global customers and obtaining USCG and new IMO G8 certification.”
   Chapman Freeborn Airchartering has appointed Neil Dursley (pictured above) as chief commercial officer.
   Dursley has more than 25 years of experience with global, customer-focused companies. He joined Panalpina in 2011 and most recently served as senior vice president of government, aid and relief based in London. He previously was Panalpina’s vice president of marketing and sales in the Middle East based in Dubai.
   Prior to Panalpina, Dursley held senior management positions with UPS Supply Chain Solutions and Menlo Worldwide Forwarding.
   “It is my aim to strengthen our market-leading position,” said Dursley, who will be based at Chapman Freeborn’s London headquarters. “I truly believe that with the team that we have around me, we can and will achieve great things. I have only ever been about exceeding customer expectations. It is possible to do this consistently with the right people in your team. From what I know and what I have seen, we have that in abundance.”
