Executive Moves: CEVA, CenterPoint, Troy Container Line, and DB Schenker

CEVA appoints CFO, DB Schenker selects CIO, CenterPoint names senior VP of investments, and Troy Container Line picks Midwest account executive.

CEVA Logistics has appointed Arjan Kaaks chief financial officer. He replaces Rubin McDougal, who is retiring but will remain with the company to assist with the transition to the new CFO over the next few months. Kaaks joins CEVA from Maxeda DIY Group, a Benelux private equity-owned company focused on the do-it-yourself retail market, where he was CFO. He has also held similar roles at O’Neill Group and Royal Grolsch.

DB Schenker has appointed Markus Sontheimer as chief information officer, effective Jan. 1. Sontheimer is currently the CIO of the finance group at Deutsche Bank AG.

CenterPoint Properties has named Paul “PJ” Charlton senior vice president of investments. He brings 12 years of experience in industrial real estate experience, most recently as principal and senior vice president of investments for KTR Capital Partners, and will focus on growing the company’s east region portfolio.

Troy Container Line has appointed Chris Donzelli as Midwest account executive, based in Chicago. In this new position, he will work closely with the non-vessel-operating common carrier’s current clients while establishing new relationships and services.
