Executive Moves: CEVA Logistics, Arrows Up

Aymeric Chandovoine is promoted, Criss Edwards is hired and Justin Renfro assumes company leadership.

CEVA Logistics has appointed Aymeric Chandavoine (pictured above left) to the position of chief operating officer of freight management.
Chandavoine is a member of the executive board, reports to CEO Nicolas Sartini and is based at the new CEVA Logistics operations center in Marseille, France.
He replaces Jérôme Lorrain, who recently was appointed managing director for North America.
Chandovoine joined CEVA Logistics in April 2010 as vice president of consumer and retail for Asia Pacific. He later took over the role of head of business development for Greater China before becoming the managing director for North Asia. In February 2018, he was appointed executive vice president of global sales.
“Aymeric was instrumental in successfully reinforcing CEVA’s sales organization, focusing on growing new large-scale customers,” Sartini said. “His extensive knowledge, broad industry expertise, coupled with global business experience, make him a particularly strong addition to the executive management.
CEVA has hired Criss Edwards as senior vice president of automotive and industrial inbound logistics. He also is based in Marseille.
Bringing more than 27 years of experience in the logistics industry to his new role, Edwards will be responsible for driving operational excellence, process improvements and management of all automotive and industrial inbound logistics sector operations.
Edwards joins CEVA from XPO Logistics, for which he most recently served as senior vice president of operations, with responsibility for consumer package goods, Asia Pacific and Latin American operations, growth and customer satisfaction.
CEVA said Edwards has an extensive background in inbound logistics and has held several global senior leadership roles in the 3PL industry and the manufacturing sector and has “developed deep expertise in supply chain operations, international business, manufacturing operations, quality and business development and strategy.”

John Allegretti, founder of Arrows Up Inc., has retired as chief executive officer and Justin Renfro (above right), president of company affiliate OmniTRAX Energy Solutions, has assumed leadership of both entities.
“With the multi-basin traction that we have achieved and the strength of our Arrows Up leadership team, it was the right time to step away from the day-to-day operations,” Allegretti said.
According to his LinkedIn profile, Renfro has served as president of OmniTRAX Energy Solutions since November and previously was with Superior Silica Sands for nearly eight years.
Arrows Up LLC, a joint venture with Arrows Up Inc., has accelerated frac sand transport efficiency and well site safety with its containerized proppant delivery and storage solution, according to the company’s announcement of the leadership change. It said the combined OES companies transported more than 17 million tons of sand last year.
The announcement said Allegretti has agreed to serve the company in an advisory capacity.
