Executive Moves: Crowley, DSC, Port Everglades, PSA, CEVA

   Crowley Logistics has named LaSonya Hill vice president of customer care.
   Hill (pictured above left), previously the director of customer care, will continue to be based at the company’s headquarters in Jacksonville, Fla.
   “LaSonya is a passionate advocate for our logistics customers. She believes in actively engaging with companies, proactively listening to their voice and utilizing predictive analytics to confront issues before they become problems,” said Frank Larkin, senior vice president of commercial services.
   Hill worked for Crowley part time in 1994 as a student and joined the company permanently in 1997 as a documentation coordinator. She has managed Crowley’s main call center and rate quote group and has overseen booking and documentation functions for the company’s Cuba and U.S. military services. 
   In 2012, she was named manager of customer care and given oversight for the company’s key apparel customer shipments. She was promoted to Caribbean service manager in 2013 and director of customer care in 2015. 
   Hill fills the role previously held by Kyra Roca, who has transitioned to vice president of freight services for logistics.
   DSC Logistics has promoted Ken Heller (pictured above right) to chief transportation officer.
   Now joined with CJ Logistics, DSC, based in Des Plaines, Ill., plans to broaden its transportation management capabilities to include international freight forwarding, cross-border transportation, private fleet services and drayage. In addition to guiding the connections of talent and processes to enable these expansions, Heller will lead the development of specialized transportation services and continue to enhance DSC’s retail compliance solutions.
   Heller began his career with Kraft Foods and joined DSC in 1994. He has held positions of increasing responsibility in both sales and operations, including vice president of business process integration, vice president and senior vice president of supply chain excellence and senior vice president of operations.
   The Broward County Commission has approved the appointment of Glenn Wiltshire as acting chief executive and port director of Port Everglades following the death of Steven Cernak.
   Wiltshire, a 30-year U.S. Coast Guard veteran, has served as deputy port director since 2006. During his tenure, he has helped increase cargo, cruise and petroleum volumes and worked with Customs and Border Protection and other agencies to introduce technologies such as facial recognition, mobile and automated passport control. Wiltshire has also served as the chair of the Florida Seaport Transportation and Economic Development Council Security Committee.
   Prior to joining Port Everglades, Wiltshire was the U.S. Coast Guard Captain of the Port of New York/New Jersey and held leadership positions in Washington D.C.
   PSA International Pte. Ltd. has appointed Peter Voser as the group chairman of the PSA Board. He will succeed Frock Siew Wah, who will step down on April 1 after serving in the role since 2005 and will assume the role of special advisor to PSA until his retirement on July 31.
   Voser, the current deputy chairman, is a former CEO of Royal Dutch Shell and was previously with the boards of Aegon and UBS. He also currently serves with the Singapore Economic Development Board on its International Advisory Council.
   Voser also holds board positions that include the chairmanships of ABB Ltd., the Board of Trustees of the St. Gallen Foundation for International Studies and the directorships for Roche Holdings Limited, Temasek Holdings, IBM Corporation and Catalyst Inc.
   “I am honored to take on the chairmanship of PSA at this exciting stage of development,” Voser said. “Siew Wah has been a beacon of inspiration, wisdom and leadership for this organization as it navigated the changing environment throughout the years.”
   Ceva Logistics has appointed Renee Toh as its global head of ocean procurement and tradelane management. Toh, who joined CEVA from DHL Global Forwarding, will be based in Singapore.
   Toh has more than 20 years of experience and has worked for both carriers and NVOCCs.
