Executive moves: CSX and Suttons Group

CSX names two executives to vice president posts, while Suttons Group appoints a new Americas director.    CSX has appointed Mike Pendergrass to vice president of transportation and Jermaine Swafford to vice president regional transportation for the southern region. Pendergrass, a 30-year rail industry veteran, has held positions within special projects and labor relations at CSX before being named vice president regional transportation for the southern region in 2005. Swafford joined CSX in 1998 and was most recently the division manager in Atlanta.

   Suttons Group has named Steve Lonsdale regional director for the Americas. He was most recently Suttons’ director of network operations. He will be based at the logistics services company’s Iselin, N.J. office.
