Executive Moves: d’Amico International Shipping, Holland & Knight and NRF

d’Amico International Shipping appoints CFO, while Holland & Knight names senior counsel and NRF picks Loss Prevention Council chairman.

   Carlos Balestra di Mottola has been appointed chief financial officer of product tanker operator d’Amico International Shipping. He joined the company in 2003 and has held various management positions in finance and business development.

   Law firm Holland & Knight said James D. Harris has joined its Washington office as senior counsel. He will focus on businesses needing access to national security information and state-owned minerals. He often appears before the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS), the U.S. Defense Department’s Defense Security Service, and the U.S. Department of the Interior.

   The National Retail Federation has named Southeastern Grocers’ Vice President of Asset Protection Dan Faketty chairman of its Loss Prevention Council. Faketty, who will serve a two-year term, succeeds Rosamaria Sostilio, senior vice president for Hudson’s Bay Co.
