Emmanuelle Verger has been elected chair of the board of trustees of Dunkerque-Port.
Verger (pictured above left), chief financial officer for EDF’s nuclear and thermal division, will serve a five-year term.
She joined the Dunkerque-Port board in 2015 and was a member of the audit committee.
The board also approved the renewal of Stéphane Raison’s (pictured above right) tenure as chief executive officer. Patrice Vergriete was re-elected as vice president. Jean-Yves Belotte will again chair the audit committee. Laurent Tapadinhas will head the Regional Directorate for the Environment, Development and Housing.
The executive committee will consist of Raison; Daniel Deschodt, chief commercial officer; Erwan Le Bris, director of planning and environment; and Christian Minet, chief operations officer.
Joining the port’s supervisory board are Régis Degelcke, former CEO of Auchan International and chairman of the Société de Recherche de Synergie; Laurence Jacques, executive director of strategic technologies for MINAKEM; and François Lavallée, president of the Littoral Côte d’Opale Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Former Chairman François Soulet de Brugière also will be part of the team.
The Duluth Seaway Port Authority elected Rick Revoir to serve as president of the board of commissioners, effective Monday.
Revoir will succeed Ray Klosowski, who completed his two-year term as president but will remain on the board. Also elected were Tony Sertich as vice president, Patrick Boyle as secretary, Norm Voorhees as treasurer and Mike Jugovich as assistant treasurer. Yvonne Prettner Solon also is a member of the board.
The Duluth Seaway Port Authority is governed by a seven-member board – two commissioners appointed by the state’s governor, two by the St. Louis County board and three by the Duluth City Council. Commissioners meet monthly to set policy, approve contracts and determine budgets. The board also hires the organization’s executive director.
