Executive Moves: EVA Airways and Port of New Orleans

EVA Airways announces president and the Port of New Orleans CEO is appointed to advisory council of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta.

    EVA Airways Corp. has promoted Clay Sun to president. He succeeds Dereck Chen, who retired, effective Jan. 1. Sun had previously served as executive vice president of the Passenger Management Division. He began his career at Evergreen Group, working in business and corporate planning for Evergreen Marine Corp., before transferring to the group’s airline in 1991. Sun held a variety of management positions and overseas posts, including a stint in cargo management. 

   Port of New Orleans President and CEO Brandy D. Christian was recently appointed to the Trade and Transportation Advisory Council of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta for a two-year term. The council is designed to provide economic insights related to transportation and trade in the Sixth Federal Reserve District. Representatives are chosen for their knowledge of trucking, rail, maritime shipping, ports and air cargo.
