Executive Moves: Hill Dickinson and Absolute Worldwide Logistics

Hill Dickinson appoints first ever COO, while Absolute Worldwide Logistics hires managers for new Waycross, Ga. office.

   Hill Dickinson has appointed Iain Johnston as its first chief operating officer. Prior to joining the commercial law firm, Johnston spent 11 years running GB Group and was involved with Alterian for 13 years, including running the business as deputy chairman prior to its sale. In addition, as chief executive officer, he helped turn around the Loewy Group and spent 16 years as chairman of Event Marketing Solutions.

   Absolute Worldwide Logistics has appointed Robin Crawford branch manager of its new Waycross, Ga. logistics operation. The Baltimore-based company also hired Keshia Hodgkin to manage truckload opportunities at its Waycross office and Rick Waldeck as business development manager for the Georgia and Northern Florida markets.
