Executive Moves: Hub Group and Americold

Hub Group names VP of corporate development, while Americold promotes COO to CEO.    Hub Group has appointed Geoff DeMartino as vice president of corporate development. DeMartino will be responsible for identifying and integrating acquisition opportunities. Since 2013, he served as senior vice president of global corporate development at Thermon Group Holdings. During his career, he has also worked for Bear, Stearns & Co, in Chicago from 1999 to 2006, and Moelis & Co. from 2006 to 2013.

   Americold has promoted Fred Boehler, formerly the company’s president and chief operating officer, to president and chief executive officer. He replaces Jeffrey M. Gault, Americold board chairman, as CEO. Boehler joined the company three years ago and before that was senior vice president with grocery retailer Supervalu.
