Executive Moves: ITS Logistics, JZ Expedited

Scott Pruneau is appointed CEO; Chris Sloope is promoted to chief operating officer.

ITS Logistics, headquartered in Reno, Nev., announced Friday that Scott Pruneau has been appointed CEO of the company effective immediately.
Pruneau (pictured above left) previously was ITS’ executive vice president and chief commercial officer. He replaces Dan Allen, acting CEO and company co-founder.
“We began an extensive nationwide search for a talented and experienced logistics professional to lead ITS and ultimately concluded that Scott was the clear choice to promote to the CEO role,” Allen said. “In his existing role, Scott has been tasked with leading our executive team, developing our three-year strategic plan and creating our 2019 budgets. These efforts will help us to continue on our path to become one of the premier logistics companies in the western United States.”
Pruneau is a 25-year veteran of the supply chain industry. Prior to joining ITS Logistics, he served as chief business development officer for Redwood Logistics, EVP of operations for Freightquote and president of CRST Logistics. He also held various leadership roles with Knight Transportation and C.H. Robinson.

JZ Expedited Companies in Jacksonville, Fla., has promoted Chris Sloope (pictured above right) from vice president of sales and international operations to chief operating officer.
He will lead the daily operations of JAX Global Cargo, North Florida Warehouse FTZ, JZ Expedited Logistics, JZ Expedited Trucking, JZI Global Supply Chain Management and Florida Tobacco Traders.
Prior to joining JZ Expedited Companies in February 2017, Sloope spent 11 years with Crowley maritime. He also spent eight years with Americas World Group.
