Executive Moves: “K” Line and ContainerPort Group

“K” Line appoints executive and managing executive officers, while ContainerPort Group names safety and compliance VP.

   “K” Line said Shunichi Arisaka, managing executive officer, and Kiyokazu Arai, executive officer, will retire, effective March 31. The carrier has promoted the following to the position of executive officer: Shingo Kogure, general manager of the General Affairs Group; Toyohisa Nakano, general manager of the Technical Group; and Nobuyuki Yokoyama, general manager of the Cargo Carrier Business Group; and the following to the position of managing executive officer: Yukikazu Myochin, executive officer; and Shuzo Kawano, executive officer. These appointments take effect by April 1.

   ContainerPort Group has appointed Fred Marsicano vice president of safety and compliance. The 30-year industry veteran has held operations and safety management positions at UPS, Styline Logistics, and most recently Triple Crown Service.
