Executive Moves: Milestone, Volga-Dnepr

Cannata, Schiller and Tierney join leadership team; Vekshin tapped to lead charter cargo operations.

   Milestone has added Chuck Cannata, Mike Schiller and Kathy Tierney to its leadership team. All three will report directly to President and Chief Executive Officer Don Clayton.
   Cannata joins Milestone as executive vice president for the trailer leasing division. Based in Kansas City, Kan., he brings 18 years of commercial equipment finance experience, including eight years in sales management and business development at GE Trailer Fleet Services. 
   Schiller joins the company as senior vice president of operations support. Schiller, who will be relocating to St. Charles, Mo., has 21 years of diverse commercial and operations experience at GE Trailer Fleet Services and two years of general management experience at Fleet Trailer Leasing. 
   Tierney has been hired as vice president of human resources. Tierney, who will be based in St. Charles, has 40 years of HR experience, 20 years at First Bank and 20 years at Venture Stores. 

   Volga-Dnepr Group has appointed Konstantin Vekshin as executive president of charter cargo operations for Volga-Dnepr Airlines.
   Based in London, Vekshin will focus on achieving the airline’s strategic objectives, managing its international operating bases and regional sales offices in the U.K., Russia, Germany, United States, UAE, China and Ireland, and building up a multinational management team for the company’s charter operations.
   Vekshin joined Volga-Dnepr in 1997. Between 2013 and 2016, he worked as vice president of the charter and government division for Centurion Cargo Airlines and as vice president of air freight charters with Bertling Logistics. In October 2016, he was appointed managing director of CargoLogicManagement, a U.K.-based Volga-Dnepr Group company specializing in management consulting services provided to international airlines.
