Executive Moves: MOL and Finnair

MOL shuffles senior management with commercial chief, VP appointments, while Finnair appoints VP of global sales.

   Mitsui O.S.K. Line has appointed Richard Hiller, executive vice president of the transpacific trade, to chief of commercial for MOL Liner. He has also assumed the position of deputy managing director of MOL Asia.
   Sundeep Sibal, regional managing director for the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) South region, became senior vice president of MOL Liner for the transpacific trade, while Colin De Souza, senior vice president of MOL Europe, transatlantic and Europe-African trade, assumed the role of regional managing director for the ASEAN South region. 
   John Van de Peer, assistant vice president of MOL Europe’s Asia-Europe trade, was promoted to vice president of MOL Europe. James Galligan, director of MOL Asia, has been appointed to vice president of MOL Liner, in charge of transpacific pricing. 
   Meanwhile, James Boyer was appointed to vice president of refrigerated cargo services and Tom Smart was named vice president of transpacific export trade management.

   Pasi Nopanen has been appointed vice president of global sales at Finnair Cargo. He was previously the airline’s sales director in North American and Scandinavia. Nopanen will continue to be responsible for North American sales, while Anja Pöyhönen‘s area as sales director for Europe will also cover Scandinavia.
