Executive Moves: Pilot, Southeastern

Companies announce employees’ promotions.

   Pilot Freight Services, a worldwide provider of transportation and logistics services, has announced the promotion of two team members as part of the company’s continued growth and expansion in the e-commerce and international business markets. Brian Flower and Christine Morgan both have been named regional vice presidents reporting directly to COO Zach Pollock.
   As the Northeast regional vice president, Flower will continue to focus on optimizing efficiencies to grow the business and implement new systems to meet the needs of customers. Prior to his promotion, Flower, who joined the company in 2010, served as the district manager of Pilot’s Newark, N.J., station.
   As the Southeast regional vice president, Morgan, who joined Pilot in 2015, will drive revenue and oversee the region from the Charlotte, N.C., station. She has held managerial roles at the company’s Greenville, S.C., and Charlotte stations.

   LTL transportation services provider Southeastern Freight Lines announced Thursday that Charles Parkman has been promoted from service center manager in Tampa, Fla., to regional vice president of sales leading teams covering 18 services centers in Alabama, Florida and Georgia. 
   Parkman began his career with Southeastern more than a decade ago as a service center manager in West Palm Beach, Fla. He will remain based in Tampa.
